Donald W. Boyajian personally handles or oversees all personal
injury cases prosecuted by the firm. Over the last 20 years,
Mr. Boyajian has compiled an impressive record of success
both in the courtroom and in his negotiations on behalf of
injured clients. His record includes numerous million dollar
settlements and verdicts. He has successfully prosecuted
several high profile personl injury claims including the
fatal shooting of an innocent bystander by Albany City Police
resulting in the largest settlement of its type in city history
(2004); the capsizing of the heavy lift vessle "Stellmare"
in the Port of Albany (2005); the truck/schoolbus collision
injurying multiple elementary school children on route to
a field trip (2002); the fire escape collapse critically
injurying Troy City school principal.; He has acted as lead
Plaintiffs' counsel in several class action and multi-party
claims including the 1999 E-Coli outbreak at the Washington
County Fair reported to be the largest waterbourne outbreak
in the nations history; Mr. Boyajian has received the highest
rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and frequently lectures on
personal injury matters.
Mr. Boyajian graduated from Union College and Franklin Pierce
Law Center. Prior to founding Dreyer Boyajian LLP, he was
a confidential law assistant for the New York State Appellate
Division, Third Judicial Department; Assistant District
Attorney for Saratoga County, and served as counsel to the
New York State Senate Ethics Committee. He is a member of
The Albany County, Saratoga County and the New York State
Bar Associations; and the New York State and American Trial
Lawyers Association. His practice is devoted to serious personal
injury litigation arising from motor vehicle accidents, medical
malpractice, defective products and environmental/toxic torts.
