David P. Johnson

David P. Johnson litigates personal injury and commercial disputes and has a deep background in New York State appellate practice and complex litigation. After completing law school, Dave worked as a Bronx County Assistant District Attorney, where he handled more than three dozen appeals in the Appellate Division. Dave also argued two cases before the New York Court of Appeals, the state’s court of last resort, where he subsequently worked as a Senior Court Attorney. Since entering private practice, Dave has represented clients in cases involving construction accidents, violations of New York’s Labor Law and Industrial Code, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, and has advised business and municipal clients.

Dave was born and raised in Fonda, New York. After spending years primarily representing businesses in the New York City area, Dave joined the firm to serve clients throughout the Mohawk Valley he has always called home. He approaches every case with an eye for detail and creative solutions to ensure his clients’ interests are protected.

Dave graduated from The College of William & Mary and received his Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law, where he served as Senior Articles & Critical Essays Editor of the American University International Law Review and competed on the school’s Moot Court team.
